New ineo + series joins the high-performance league
JOHANNESBURG – May 03, 2017 – DEVELOP South Africa, a wholly owned Bidvest company, has launched the new A3 line-up of the 45-65 ppm range namely the ineo + 458 / ineo + 558 / ineo + 658 multifunctional printers (MFPs) in South Africa. Key features of the new series include high productivity and reliability, user friendliness, preservation of the environment and excellent finishing options.
With today’s frenetic business pace, it has become increasingly important for office staff to have access to a reliable multifunctional system that can quickly produce quality products. The new ineo + series is a productivity enhancer that is not only extremely easy to operate, saving the user both time and effort, but also ensures secure, smooth document management so that office staff can focus on the core business.
Highly productive and reliable
The new series boasts output speeds of 45, 55, and 65 A4 pages a minute respectively in both black-and-white and colour mode. It also features a 10.1-inch touchscreen panel for the easy operation of functions including copying, colour scanning, printing and the optional fax module. This faster copy and scan speed is especially useful in environments with large volumes.
The performance and reliability of the scanning process is maximised thanks to the optional ultrasonic sensors mounted in the document feeder, which ensure that each page is accurately scanned separately without multi-feed. It can scan up to 240 images per minute by scanning both sides of a sheet of paper simultaneously.
The 10.1 -inch touch screen control panel, together with the responsive navigation, ensures that system operation is straightforward. The user interface can even be adapted to the usage habits of each person, supporting and accelerating the ease of operation, particularly when it comes to the planning of complex print, copy, scan or fax jobs.
Another small but significant improvement is the easy-to-use paper size measurement function, which means that manual control of paper sizes is no longer necessary as the non-standard-sized paper is automatically measured. Paper up to 300 grams per square meter (gsm) can be used through the bypass (256 gsm via trays) with a standard 1,150-sheet capacity and the maximum input capacity of 6650 sheets. This means, office staff does not have to spend time restocking paper and allows for longer, uninterrupted print runs.
The Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) value for the ineo + series is one of the lowest in the sector - a positive for the environment as well as for businesses, as it also saves on operating costs while noise levels are reduced to a minimum.
The new ineo + series allows for the creation of presentation booklets of up to 80 pages, and it can fold, staple, punch and Z-fold A3 to DL envelope sizes.
“DEVELOP is committed to significantly improving office productivity with a wide range of new or improved features in this series. The mid-market colour MFP sector is highly competitive and with the launch of the new ineo + series, DEVELOP has produced a winning product group, allowing clients to get the maximum benefit from the comprehensive feature set,” concludes Marc Pillay, CEO at DEVELOP South Africa.
