Trip to a luxury island rewards DEVELOP SA’s top dealers

JOHANNESBURG – October 28, 2014 – DEVELOP South Africa, a Bidvest Group Limited company, recently rewarded its top dealers with an all-expenses paid, luxury trip to the Maldives. The company flew four representatives, along with their partners, to Club Med Kani, a tiny private paradise island in the Maldives archipelago. Highlights of the seven-night trip included a seaplane tour over the islands, along with jet-ski rides and snorkelling, and plenty of pampering.

Managing director, Marc Pillay, says: “Over the last six years, DEVELOP South Africa has firmly established itself in the local print, copy, scan and fax industry as a serious player. This 2013/2014 year saw a year-on-year growth of 45 percent, up from 35 percent last year. This is a remarkable achievement considering both the current economic climate and the number of competitors in this market. The key to our success has been growing with our partners and knowledge sharing.

“DEVELOP South Africa was founded in order to grow and partner with South Africans, particularly black entrepreneurs, and I am delighted that all our efforts to grow this dynamic business are paying off. This year we increased our dealer network from 26 partners in 2013 to 37 in 2014, further extending our countrywide coverage. ”

The four DEVELOP’s dealers who exceeded their 2013/2014 sales targets were Safika Business Solutions and Services (BSS), Enzayo Technologies, and Develop Mentors all from Gauteng, and Managed Document Solution from KwaZulu-Natal .

“We were very pleased to be in a position to reward these dealers for their outstanding performances,” says Pillay. “The results that we have seen in the 2013/2014 period have made us incredibly excited for the future.”
